Music is a gift from God. It speaks to the heart and nourishes the soul. Within the context of the Liturgy and the Celebration of the Eucharist, music heightens our senses and brings us closer to an encounter with our God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

If you love to sing and/or you sing at a community choir, or your school choir (HS or College), we need you! We are currently looking for new singers to grow our music ministries: English and Spanish, Traditional and Contemporary.

Instrumentalists, you are also invited to be part of Music Ministry [strings, woodwind, brass, etc.] You add color and texture to the sung words.

As music ministers, we support the assembly's sung prayer. The songs (the sung prayers) belong to the people and we are privileged to lead them.

Below are the different choir/ensemble that may be of interest to potential music ministers who are looking to serve and get involved...

Parish Choir (ages High School and up): 

Time commitment includes Sunday 10:00 AM Mass, Weekly Rehearsal on Wednesday @ 7:00-9:00 PM, and other special parish Liturgies, and non-Liturgy parish events. Volunteers in Music Ministry serve from the beginning of September to the end of June, and take a summer break for some rest and relaxation (July and August).
 

Spanish Ensemble (ages High School and up): 

Time commitment includes Sunday 12:00 PM Mass, and Weekly Rehearsal on Saturday @ 5:00-6:30 PM. Volunteers in Music Ministry serve from the beginning of September to the end of June, and take a summer break for some rest and relaxation (July and August). [Coro en español (la escuela secundaria y mayores) El compromiso de tiempo incluye la misa del domingo a las 12:00 p.m. y el ensayo semanal el sabado a las 5:00-6:30 p.m. Los voluntarios en el Ministerio de Música sirven desde principios de septiembre hasta finales de junio y toman en receso de verano para descansar y relajarse (julio y agosto)]

Contemporary Ensemble (ages Middle School and up): 

Time commitment includes Sunday 5:00 PM Mass, Weekly Rehearsal on Sunday @ 3:45-4:55 PM, and other special parish Liturgies, and non-Liturgy parish events. Volunteers in Music Ministry serve from the beginning of September to the end of June, and take a summer break for some rest and relaxation (July and August).

Youth Choir (3rd-8th grades): 

*(Will resume September 2023) Time committment includes Sunday 5:00 PM Mass on the first Sunday of the month, and Weekly Rehearsal on Wednesday @ 4:00-5:00 PM. Volunteers in Music Ministry serve from the beginning of September to the end of June, and take a summer break for some rest and relaxation (July and August).
