Sacramental Preparation

Preparation for the saraments of Eucharist and Confirmation. This process is applicable to both adults and children age seven and up.

Preparation for Confirmation for adults (18 and older) is available. Classes meet on Sunday nights, 7:00-9:00 p.m., during the winter.

Youth & Young Adult Ministry

Confirmation 1 meets on Wednesday nights. and a Monday class with very limited space is also offered. Confirmation 1 mainly meets on the first and third weeks of the month.
Confirmation 2 meets on Wednesday nights, and a Monday class with very limited space is also offered. Confirmation 2 mainly meets on second and fourth weeks of the month.

Jr. High (The Edge) meets Monday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

High school youth gather after the 5:00 p.m. Sunday Mass. Other educational, recreational activities and service projects are offered throughout the week.

College Life meets Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m.

Religious Education

Pre-school classes for children ages 3, 4 and 5 years are offered during the 8:45 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning Mass. Religious Education classes are offered on Tuesdays 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. and Wednesdays 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday mornings from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Children's Liturgy of the Word is available for children during the 8:45 and 10:30 a.m. Mass. Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist is a two year process that may begin in the first grade.

Offers religious education programs for Spanish speaking children up to High School age.

St. Joseph School

Accredited academic and religious program for children in grades Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth that focus on the development of the whole child, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically through a course of study that includes sports, technology, art, music, and Spanish language.

Lay Ministries

This office coordinates the various lay ministries including lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, altar servers, Ministers of Hospitality (Ushers), Ministers to the homenound and hospital, and Bereavement Ministers. Also works to coordinate efforts of the various ministry groups and organizations: Senior Forum, Sarah's Circle, Adult Seminars, Friday Friends, Parish Mailing Team, and Environment Committee at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
