NEXT MEETING: December 5th, 7PM
Has the Economic Crisis Affected You?
May we help?
A new St. Joseph ministry is being established to assist parishioners challenged in a number of ways by the current downturn in our economy.
We are focusing on helping parishioners through the:
Career Connections Committee
For those of you unemployed or under-employed: Do you need help with networking, resume writing, and / or interviewing skills? How about resources for financial advice, legal assistance, or basic needs - food, shelter, medical, etc.
For those of you with special talents or resources:
Will you join us in assisting parishioners in some way above - for example, resume writing and interviewing workshops or providing pro-bono financial or legal services?
For those of you in business:
Would you like more business from the parishioners? Do you need additional employees? If so, would you consider parishioners for employment? Does your company have job openings? Want to send us your website employment links?
Send any job opening information you have to firstname.lastname@example.org
DATE: December 5, 2013
TIME: 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
TOPICS: Job Search Strategies and Open Forum Discussion
St Joseph’s Career Connections ministry is a free service to help people who find themselves in a career transition situation. Whether you are unemployed, underemployed or looking for a more satisfying, fulfilling career, Career Connections can help during this challenging time.
Come join us on Thursday, December 5, 7 to 9 PM as we discuss effective job search strategies for the new year. The second part of our workshop will be an open forum discussion on career transition strategies, issues and or concerns you might have during this difficult process. Topics might include resume writing, interviewing tips or coping with job loss. We'll discuss the topics most important to the group.
