Generations of Faith

If you are looking for an experience of faith formation that involves everyone in our parish community, then Generations of Faith is designed for you. Generations of Faith is an innovative approach that involves all generations as we learn and grow together through our experiences and participation in church life by:

• Building a parish community by engaging all ages in the life of the Church

• Sharing faith and learning from our individual experiences

• Making connections among the generations and creating a holistic and comprehensive approach to faith formation

• Nurturing the faith of families and individuals at home

• Helping each of us grow in the understanding of liturgical events and to live out our faith in our everyday lives

What will a Faith Festival look like?

We will eat together

Everyone gathers to share a meal and conversation. The meal is prepared for you, so no cooking is required.

The topic is.....

Next everyone is introduced to the learning topic through prayer, ritual and other mediums.

Split into age specific activities

All ages learn about the same topic according to their stages in life: children, adolescents, young adults and adults.

Whole group sharing experience

The different age groups come back together to share what they have learned and receive home kits that give them the tools to continue what they have learned.

Celebrate

All generations engage in more meaningful participation in church liturgies and events. They continue to reflect and apply the significance and meaning of theses events for their lives as Catholics.
